ShardNote is a neutral tool. Because all content is encrypted client-side, we have no knowledge of, and no control over, the data being shared. Therefore:

• We are not responsible for any content shared via our platform.
• We are not liable for any loss of data, as the service is temporary by design.
• We cannot recover lost encryption keys or deleted notes.

5. Service Limitations

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may implement rate limits or file size restrictions to ensure the stability of the platform.

6. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to block access to the service or delete encrypted data if we receive reports of abuse that violate these terms, although our ability to identify specific content is limited by our encryption model.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with international privacy standards and the laws of the jurisdiction where the service is hosted.
